The Perfect Last Minute Holiday Gift for RVers: Give the Gift of Travel with a Harvest Hosts Membership

Are you looking for a unique and thoughtful last-minute holiday gift? Look no further than a Harvest Hosts membership. Harvest Hosts is a membership-based program that allows RVers and van dwellers to stay overnight at unique locations such as wineries, breweries, and farms. Not only is it a cost-effective way to travel, but it also gives the gift of the opportunity to experience local culture and support small businesses. Give the gift of travel and adventure with a Harvest Hosts membership. And as an added bonus, you can save 15% on your membership by using our special link when signing up.

The best part is you never have to leave your house and you always know it fits!

We love Harvest Hosts for so many reasons! Mostly because we can usually find a spot to stay where there are no other campgrounds or safe places to spend the night. With over 4600 hosts across the US, we find it easier to locate a host rather than a campground. We’ve enjoyed wineries, breweries, and a few farms. So far, our favorite was a winery in Amarillo, TX with live music, an incredible sunset, and fantastic wine. It was so nice to enjoy the scenery instead of staring at the backside of someone else’s camper during a quick overnight stay. Our kids love Harvest Hosts too because it often gives them some wide open space to run around - respectfully of course - after a long day of driving.

There are several reasons why we joined Harvest Hosts and why it makes a perfect gift for others:

  1. Cost savings - As a member, you can stay overnight at unique locations, such as wineries, breweries, museums, and farms, for free in exchange for supporting the host by visiting their establishment and making a purchase. This can save you money on overnight camping fees and provide you with unique and off-the-beaten-path destinations to stay at.

  2. Unique destinations - The host locations offer a variety of unique and off-the-beaten-path destinations that might not be available at traditional campgrounds.

  3. Local connection - Many of the host locations are family-owned and operated businesses that are happy to share their stories and experiences with visitors, providing an opportunity to learn about local culture, history, and customs and get a more authentic travel experience.

  4. Community - Sometimes other Harvest Hosts members will also be at the same location allowing you to meet other RVers, share stories, tips, and make new friends!

  5. Supporting local businesses - By staying at the host locations, members can support local businesses and contribute to the local economy.

  6. Flexibility - Host locations provide the flexibility of staying in various places, and changing your itinerary on the fly gives you more freedom and adventure on your trip.

  7. Safety - Some members joined Harvest Hosts because it allows them to stay in safer places, away from crowded RV parks and rest areas. Or where there may not be a campground on their route.

Overall, a gift to Harvest Hosts can be a great way to save your loved one money on overnight camping fees, experience unique and off-the-beaten-path destinations, and connect with local communities and businesses while traveling in an RV.
